Translate checkout messages
Edit title and text of every checkout banner per language.
When DiscountHero removes or replaces a code, the customer sees a short banner in the checkout. You control the wording of every banner, in every language your store sells in.
💡 In short: go to Languages in the app, pick a language, and edit the title and text of each message. Languages are taken from your Shopify store settings automatically.
The messages you can edit

The replacement messages only appear if Smart Discount Replacement is enabled for your store. See Smart Discount Replacement: swap instead of remove.
Languages
- The list of languages comes from your Shopify store languages. Add a language in Shopify and it appears in the app.
- One language is marked as primary. It is used when the customer's checkout language has no translation yet.
- Every language shows whether its texts are complete, so you can spot gaps quickly.
Tips for good banner texts
- Keep it short and friendly. The customer is one step from paying.
- Say what happened and what they can do: "This code is for first orders. Your existing-customer code has been applied instead."
- Avoid accusatory wording. Most duplicates are not fraud, just a customer trying their luck.
