Instead of picking upsell products manually, you can let the app choose them for every single order.
💡 In short: three product sources are available per offer: Choose manually, AI recommendation, and Product in cart. Switch between them in the offer editor.
The AI looks at the products in the customer's order and at what is typically bought together in your store, and suggests up to 3 products that best match the order. This keeps every offer relevant and lifts your upsell conversion, especially in stores with a larger catalog.
It learns from your own results. Every accepted upsell teaches the app which product combinations work in your store ("customers who bought X accepted Y"). These learnings are refreshed nightly and flow back into the recommendations. Product categories, types and tags are taken into account as well.
Products that are already part of the customer's order are never suggested as an upsell.
You decide what the AI is allowed to offer:
Skip out-of-stock products so sold-out items are never offered.
Exclude specific products, entire collections, or items with a specific tag (for example gift cards, B2B items, or POS-only products).
If the AI still suggests a product you consider sold out, check the product in your Shopify admin: the option "Continue selling when out of stock" must be deactivated on the product. Shopify reports such products as sellable, so they count as in stock for the recommendation.
Re-offer one of the products the customer just bought, for example as "add a second one at 20 % off". You choose whether the most expensive or the least expensive product of the order is offered. Perfect for consumables and multi-packs. You can also exclude specific products, collections, or tagged items so they are never re-offered; the rule then picks from what is left.
Pick up to 3 upsell products yourself. Shopify bundles count as regular products here.
Open the Order Browser in the app to see for each order which offer was displayed and whether it was accepted. The offer a customer sees is frozen for that checkout, so what you see in the Order Browser is exactly what they saw.
