When several funnels match

When several funnels could apply to the same order, exactly one is shown. You control how it is picked in the funnel overview, under Handle multiple matching funnels.

Default: first match wins (priority order)

With Use priority order selected:

• Funnels are evaluated top to bottom in the order of your funnel list.
• The first funnel whose trigger matches the order fires. All funnels below it are not checked for this order.
• The position in the list decides, not how specific a trigger is. A very generic funnel at the top will win against a very specific funnel below it.
• Inactive, draft, and archived funnels are never shown.

Drag funnels into the right order using the drag handle on the left of each row.

Recommended order:

1. Specific product or collection funnels (most targeted)
2. Broader funnels (for example order value or customer segment)
3. Your catch-all funnel with AI recommendation (no trigger) at the very bottom

Alternative: random match

With Pick a random match selected, a random funnel is chosen from all matching funnels, ignoring the priority order. This is useful if you want to spread traffic across several equally good offers.

Building "did NOT buy X" logic

With priority order active, you can build exclusion logic. Example: you want to offer sunscreen only to customers who did not buy sunscreen yet.

1. Funnel 1 (top): trigger "Collection Sunscreen in order", offering something else.
2. Funnel 2 (below): your sunscreen offer, no sunscreen trigger.

Customers who bought sunscreen are caught by funnel 1 and never reach funnel 2. Everyone else falls through to the sunscreen offer.
