Shopify Sidekick, the AI assistant in your Shopify admin, can answer questions about your AddressHero data. You get the numbers without opening the app.
What you can ask Sidekick
Sidekick reads the following AddressHero data:
How many orders and checkout addresses AddressHero validated, the address error rate, and how many addresses were corrected
Every error type with how often it was detected, most frequent first
Estimated saved fees and saved support tickets, with the cost assumptions behind them
The validation result of one order: status, detected error, on hold or not, and corrected fields
Orders that need attention because of the shipping address
Which AddressHero features are on, with their countries
Your plan, trial, usage against the usage cap, and the charges billed in a date range
How often customers picked an address autocomplete suggestion, per country
Results of the DHL Packstation finder A/B test
Example questions
Ask Sidekick things like:
"How many addresses did AddressHero validate last month?"
"Did the error rate go up compared to the month before?"
"Which address errors happen most often?"
"How much money did AddressHero save me?"
"What happened to the address of order #1234?"
"Which orders are on hold because of the address?"
"Why is nothing validated in my checkout?"
"How close am I to my usage cap?"
If you don't give a date range, Sidekick answers for the last 30 days. A range can span up to 366 days. For validation summary, error types and cost savings, you can ask Sidekick to compare with the period right before. Where it fits, the answer includes a link that opens the matching page in the app, such as the KPI Dashboard or the billing settings.
How to read the answers
Analytics amounts, like saved fees, appear in your shop currency. Plan, usage cap and autocomplete charges appear in USD, and Sidekick does not convert them.
Saved fees and saved support tickets are estimates. They rely on the cost assumptions in your settings, and Sidekick can tell you which assumptions it used.
The address error rate counts address errors only. The number of orders with errors also includes format normalizations such as Straรe to Str. A shop can show many orders with errors and an error rate of 0 %, because those orders only had format normalizations.
Error type counts are errors, not addresses. One address can have several errors, so the counts do not add up to a number of addresses. A count of 0 means AddressHero detected none of that type.
Order details are kept for 7 days. Sidekick can look up an order or list orders needing attention only for the last 7 days, and the list shows at most 20 orders, newest first. For older orders, use the analytics totals.
What Sidekick cannot do
Sidekick only reads your AddressHero data. It cannot change a setting, correct an address, or release an order from hold.
For the A/B test, Sidekick names a winner only when the result is statistically significant.
