The Offer Editor is where you design what your customers see after checkout. Every funnel has its own layout.
What you can customize
Sections: add, remove and re-order elements per drag and drop, for example headline, product image, benefits, countdown timer, product reviews, or an FAQ. In the FAQ section you add a heading and questions with answers. Buyers open one question at a time, and the first question starts expanded.
Texts: edit every text on the page, from the headline to the button labels. A character counter under the headline and subtitle warns you before you type more than fits on the live page.
Spacing: adjust the spacing between sections for a tighter or airier look.
Product presentation: control how the offered product, its price, and the discount are displayed. For the description, pick no description, custom text (prefilled from the product's own description in your store's default language, then editable), or a product metafield. The product title starts from your Shopify catalog title and you can edit it for each language. In the Quantity section, choose Maximum quantity to let the customer pick up to a cap, or Fixed quantity to add an amount the customer cannot change, for example 2 pieces. With a fixed quantity, the price, the strikethrough price and the button show the total for that quantity.
One-click or two-click confirmation
Under Page Layout you choose the Upsell flow of the offer:
One-click confirmation: one tap on the button buys the product right away. Fastest path, highest conversion.
Two-click confirmation: the first tap only adds the product to an order summary. The customer then confirms the purchase with a second button, and only then is the payment charged.
💡 When to switch: if customers write to you that they added the upsell by accident, switch to two-click confirmation. Accidental taps happen most on the phone.
The setting applies per offer. If your funnel has several steps, set it on every offer. You can style the second button by clicking it in the editor.
Preview before you publish
Mobile preview: most upsell purchases happen on the phone, so always check the mobile view. On phones the content uses the full available width with about 10 px of padding on each side, whatever content width you chose for desktop.
Language preview: if your store runs in several languages, preview the offer in each of them (see Translations and editing texts). The editor opens on your store's default language first.
What you cannot customize here
Colors and fonts generally follow your Shopify checkout branding automatically and cannot be set in the Offer Editor. This is a Shopify rule for all post-purchase pages and keeps the offer looking native to your checkout. See Colors, fonts and branding for how to adjust them. The banner section is an exception: you can hide its title and set its own background color, either a custom color or the Subtle and Transparent style, directly in the editor. The Font select under Page Layout is a second exception: it switches the offer page from your checkout fonts to Shopify Default (Inter).
Optimize continuously
Create an A/B test directly from the editor to test different layouts, texts or discounts against each other. See A/B testing.
