PaymentHero moved to Shopify's newest app framework and design system. You will notice it right away:
Cleaner, consistent look across dashboard, rules, payment methods and plans, matching the current Shopify admin.
Faster page loads, especially when opening the app and switching between pages.
Breadcrumb navigation on every page, so you always know where you are and get back to the dashboard in one click.
Redesigned plans page with a clear comparison and a yearly billing toggle.
Your rules, settings and plan stay exactly as they were. No action needed.

When you edited an existing sort rule and added another payment method, the order of the methods you had already arranged could shift. That no longer happens.
Newly added payment methods are appended at the end of your list.
The positions you set before stay untouched until you move them yourself.
Tip: after saving a sort rule, run a quick test checkout in your store to confirm the order your customers see.

Picking the right Klarna entry used to be confusing because Klarna appears with several payment handlers in Shopify. We simplified the flow.
Klarna options are grouped and labelled so you can see which entry matches what your customers see at checkout.
The rule editor guides you to the correct handler for hide and sort rules.
Good to know: Klarna and PayPal display their own logo in the checkout, so they cannot be renamed. Hiding and sorting works as usual.

The onboarding used to allow exactly one rule, and there was no explicit save button. Both are fixed.
Save each rule with one click before you move on.
Create as many rules as your plan allows, right inside the onboarding.
Everything you create during onboarding shows up in your rules overview afterwards.
New to PaymentHero? Start with one hide rule for a payment method you only want to offer in selected countries, then add sort rules to put your preferred methods first.

Some merchants could not see or select countries when creating a rule, which made country-specific hide, rename and sort rules impossible to set up. This is fixed.
The country list in the rule editor loads reliably again.
Existing rules were not affected and keep working as configured.
If a rule still does not apply, check that it is published and that the correct payment handlers are selected. Our help center article on choosing the right payment methods walks you through it.
